Why a separate site for nine products
A large marketplace is a good place to buy and a poor place to compare. A brand’s products end up scattered across unrelated category pages, ten colourways of one tool look like ten different tools, and nothing on the page answers the only question that matters while you are choosing: which of these do I actually need?
This site puts the whole range in one place, groups the colourways back into the product they belong to, and states the limitations next to the features. If a kettle has no variable temperature control, that is on the kettle page. If a juicer struggles with leafy greens, that is on the juicer page. Nine products is a small enough catalogue that we can be specific about every one of them.
Where the numbers come from
Product titles, bullet specifications, images, prices, colour variants and sales rank come from the retailer’s product advertising API. Star ratings and rating counts are read from the live product pages. Everything is recorded at the moment it was checked, and retail pricing moves often enough that the price on the listing itself is always the one that applies.
The editorial text — the descriptions, the buying advice, the answers on each product page — is written by us. It is not copied from the listings, and where we think a product is the wrong choice for a particular job we say so.
Stock status, stated honestly
Right now 4 of the 9 products have an active listing. The other 5 show as unavailable, with no restock date published anywhere. We have left those pages up with their full specifications and taken the buy buttons off them, because a page that says "currently unavailable" is more useful than a link into a dead listing. If they come back, the buttons come back with them.
